Traditional Naturopathy & Herbal Therapy
What is Naturopathy?

Traditional Naturopathy is a practical philosophy that believes that health comes from Nature.  A traditional naturopathic practitioner is someone who specializes in wellness.   That is to say, teaching clients how applying natural lifestyle approaches can act to facilitate the body’s own natural health building potential. The traditional naturopath does not undertake to "diagnose" or "treat diseases," but rather recognizes that the majority of sub-health conditions are cumulative lifestyle effects, and that the underlying cause of what we call "disease" (or, "dis-ease") is improper diet, unhealthy habits, and environmental factors which cause biological imbalances leading to a weakening of the bodies’ natural defenses and subsequent breakdown in health.

Why Naturopathy?

It is never our intention to "treat" any condition that our clients present with. It is our goal to reverse engineer a client's presentation by removing whatever is interfering with their health and add what is missing.  We do not replace medical interventions but instead help our clients become their own health advocates. Our goal is always centered around restoring vitality. We believe that a diagnosis can never paint the full picture of what is going on and only limit intervention options.

While is not our intention to treat a diagnosis, clients with the below issues have reported significant improvements:

Constipation, Diarrhea, Acid Reflux, & Indigestion

Persistent Pain

Nerve Health

Emotional Stability,

Anxiety Depression

Difficulty Falling Asleep,

Difficulty Staying Asleep

Modalities of Wellness

Traditional Naturopathy seeks to correct imbalances by applying the natural approaches of food/air, water, movement, detoxification, sleep, and emotional wellness.  To support these approaches other natural techniques may be employed such as:

  • Herbal therapy which is the use of foods, herbs, vitamins, minerals, organ extracts, and homeopathy.

  • Homeopathy which is a noninvasive system that uses small doses of highly diluted substances prepared from animal, vegetable, or mineral sources.

  • Aromatherapy which is the use of essential oils, extracted from plants, trees, and herbs, for therapeutic purposes.

  • Naturopathic Bodywork which is designed to “loosen the body, and ease pain, painlessly.”

  • BEMER which is a Pulsed Electromagnetic Frequency device designed to improve circulation.
